2010 Annual Conference in Athens

"Despite the current problems in Greece, The Research Alliance is continuing with its plan to hold its 2010 annual conference in Athens, a few days before the ESOMAR event already being held here; Ioanna Mitropoulo, Owner of Stohos Research who will be this years hosts points out that despite the scenes on global TV screens for several days, the vast majority of the city is untouched by violence, and the vast majority of ordinary Greeks, even if not exactly delighted with the pending austerity measures, are still providing a customary warm welcome to tourists".
